A pair of young pandas has been selected to move from the panda breeding center in Wolong, China to a facility in Taiwan. The pair are to be a gift. Early reports indicate that the young male was born in 2004 to Hua Mei,the first female cub born at the San Diego Zoo; the female sub adult was born to Lei Lei, a wild-caught female.
